The Best Chiropractic Marketing Programs
Last Updated: May 7, 2019
After releasing my free chiropractic marketing programs I am often asked what the best program is to start with. This is certainly a tough question because different cities sizes can make certain programs not work. In this post I’m going to share my thoughts on what you should start with.
Internal Marketing
If you have an established practice you should be doing some form of internal marketing. The patient appreciation days and cards that we use to hand out will pretty much handle this area for you. What we did is that we had special cards printed up at The Print Place. The back of the card had a map to our office on it and the front of the card had some form of deal for new patients.
On the week that we did this promotion we simply had our front desk staff hand out two cards to each patient that came it. They told the patient something like this: Hi Sue, it’s great to see you today. Here are two cards that you can give to friends or family members. All they have to do is call us by this date (the date was stamped on the card in front of them) and we will get them in for this special.
This was a very easy low pressure way to ask our patients for referrals. The larger your practice is the more new patients you will bring in from this activity. If you’re brand new in practice this program may not be very effective for you, but it’s still worth putting in as a normal process in your office. It’s very cheap and easy to do.
External Marketing
My favorite program on the external side was the business massage program. I hired a younger massage therapist just out of school typically. They called local businesses and would offer 10 minute chair massages free of charge. During the massage they would speak to the client about chiropractic care and we found that this was a very easy low pressure way to reach out to a lot more people.
The great thing about massage is that it can be wrapped into many other marketing programs you might be doing. Massage is a great way to get a potential patient to come into the office. They get a chance to see what you have to offer and they get a massage at the same time.
The most important thing to know about any marketing program is that it takes effort on your part to be successful. In my free list of chiropractic marketing ideas I’ve given you the seeds you need to get started, but be creative. You don’t have to do it exactly the way I did it. You may need to make adjustments in your city to be successful. Put in your thirty minutes each day and I know you’ll do well.
