Chiropractic Websites: How To Present Your Practice
Last Updated: May 31, 2019
Chiropractors have been doing a substantial amount of marketing for decades. Traditionally that marketing has been focused around print advertising, screenings, talks, radio, and television, but today the internet is quickly becoming the venue of choice.
Chiropractic websites are a great way to reach out to thousands of new patients without the high cost or effort that most other external advertising requires. You can literally display your message 24 hours per day without having to do any work.
When a potential new patient looks at your website they are looking for a few things:
- They want to see who you are
- They want to see your phone number
- They want to see that they can trust you
- They want to be told what to do with a call to action
Step 1
One of the most important things that your chiropractic website needs to have is an area where they can see who you are. I personally think the best place to display this information is on the homepage of your site, but if not there should be an easy to find “about us” page. Chiropractors are in a personal business and people want to see who they will be trusting their health with.
Step 2
You also need to make sure that your phone number is easy to find and is click-able. With the advent of smart phones many potential new chiropractic patients are using their phones to find you. Most websites today do not have an easily accessible phone number. Remember that patients online tend to be impatient. Make it as easy for them as you can.
Step 3
The majority of new patients are not sure what to do. It’s important that your website directs them in the correct direction without being too pushy. You need to have a very easy to see call to action on the top of your homepage. In fact it should be in multiple places on your homepage.
Assume that you have about 5 seconds to convince a new patient to choose you. If they have to click though pages to get to the information they want you will almost certainly lose them.
Follow the instructions here and I can promise that your website will be more productive. At Inception we break down every aspect of our websites to think the way a patient would. Call us today if you are looking for our full service hands off options.
